Well-researched market placement, compelling branding, and elegant design secure a profitable chunk of the crowded coffee market.
User research revealed some valuable insights:
1. "Fair trade" is more important to coffee consumers than "organic".
2. When buying coffee, people love personalized service.
3. A café's popularity is proportionate to its warmth, class, and convenience.
4. Anglo ex-pats spend the most on coffee per capita.





Internalizing user insights via personas
Competitive analysis = informed decisions
  According to Wikipedia, "percolation" is the process of "filtering fluids through porous materials". It's also a popular way to brew coffee. In this context, it is an apt (and punny!) analogy for the way in which I refined the project's branding: starting with design sprints, creating moodboards, and, subjecting them to user preference testing, I arrived at a final brand concept, effective and proven.
